Jennie fell in love with yoga in 1997 and has been teaching full time since 2005. She has attended a wide range of teacher trainings and workshops over the years, ie. in Ashtanga vinyasa, Anusara yoga, Vinyasa flow, Virya yoga,Yin yoga, Ayurvedic yoga massage and anatomy. She is curious and eager to continually broaden as well as deepen her knowledge; yoga is a lifelong experience.
Jennie strongly believes that there are many truths in yoga; what is "right" will be different from one person to another, and her intention with her teaching is to guide the students into learning how to communicate with their bodies and mind; using principles of alignment as a structure and then tuning in to what is true to them instead of just listening to general guidelines. She encourages curiosity and to cultivate breath, awareness and gratitude; to make it easier to access these qualities into our everyday life, off the mat.
For the based 12 years she has divided her time between India and Sweden and she is running retreats and teacher trainings worldwide.
