Breathwork for Forgiveness, with Michelle Baker

For so many of us there is a list of people we desire to one day forgive and actions we long to be forgiven for. But, knowingly or not, there is also a forgiveness that resides deep within the density of our bones that from time to time calls out. In my personal experience forgiveness of another is something that has felt much easier than foraging and excavating for the deeper letter of apology addressed to myself, from myself.

No matter it's route, forgiveness is never about excusing yours or another's behavior, it's about creating a little more space around the grip of a heart and a soul that's been cracked, mistreated, or perhaps broken. It's a releasing of pain that in turn offers you permission to soften back into the wholeness of you so you can reside in a body that feels less jagged, less burdened, and less occupied by the energy of another.
At the end of the day forgiveness is a personal choice, one that only you can make when you are ready to do so.

This work asks us to be willing to explore our vast internal landscape which can at times be a vulnerable journey, maybe even a bit daunting, because like the depths of the ocean, there is so much within us that has yet to be discovered.

Breathwork is
an active meditation technique that allows you to connect with your breath and clear your mind and body of stuck energy. It allows you to feel where your blocks reside and actively move through them, creating a pathway for an emotional detox.
On one hand it activates you, on the other it allows you to relax and release tension while liberating limiting beliefs. It can connect you to your innate wisdom while helping you to open your heart to honest self-love, self-healing, and self-acceptance.

Michelle Baker is a transformational Life Coach & Mentor, Breathwork Healer & Facilitator, Yoga Instructor, Reiki Master, and amateur writer.
