Muscle Melt`~ Yin Vinyasa Yoga Master Class With Rae Indigo

Beginning with a gentle warm up, this 2-hour class explores all directions of mobility through flowing and passive yoga postures. Designed to have equal benefit for athletes and office workers, this artistic practice including new therapeutic poses will focus on slow, deep and gentle extension of muscles.

Modifications will be offered for beginner through advanced practitioner, with the focus of practice on the internal sensations from each pose.  Synchronized movement will be Interwoven with breathing techniques, and meditation.  This is a well-rounded, feel good practice for all level practitioners.
 
Yin is the receptive, still, intuitive and meditative quality often missing from our lives in this fast paced and overly busy world.  Yin is an opportunity to combine physical practice with meditation and deep breathing, and is very complimentary to more vigorous yoga styles, athletes, and people with high-stress lives.

 

Transformational breathing

Transformational Breathing is a deeply therapeutic modality. This form of breathwork facilitates the natural healing process for many types of trauma stored in our subconscious mind, body chemistry, and physical form.

The practice of transformational breathing is a dynamic and intense guided pranayama that creates a large wave of energy. While the practice itself is powerful, the post effect is a feeling of ecstatic bliss and clarity. You will notice a lightness, and the absence of the cloud-like quality of past burdens. This practice creates a change in chemistry, and by its intensity washes away stress hormones in the system relieving anxiety.

• Reprograms healthy breathing patterns
