Lisa was born and raised for the the first 9 years of her life in Asia which led to a life long interest in Eastern cultures. Her Mum also taught yoga so thus her love for yoga was always bubbling under the surface and just had to wait to be discovered until her early 20s.
She has been teaching yoga full time since 2014 and is a Yoga
Alliance 500hr accredited teacher trained in ashtanga vinyasa,
hatha, prenatal yoga & Katherine Graves Hypnobirthing. Her aim
is not to teach you handstand (even though that can be fun) but the
main thing she would like you to gain from practicing with her is
to learn how to come back to yourself after a stressful day &
help you find peace & space within which helps to make
everything manageable again.
In terms of the physical side of her teaching, she focuses on
simpler poses done with full engagement, breath & presence,
preferring to teach healthy, functional movement and lots of
circular, opening movements as opposed to extreme backbends or arm
balances. Her vinyasa classes could be classed as "mindful

Lisa takes a very gentle, nurturing approach to prenatal yoga and
emphasises safe & appropriate asana practice as well as
incorporating Hypnobirthing relaxations & breathing techniques.
Hypnobirthing is an approach that helps to build confidence,
and set a positive mindset for birth by reducing fear and
misconceptions around birth and educating mothers/couples on the
physical & hormonal process of birth. Lisa hopes to provide you
